The ‘Kizungu zungu hit maker shared the good news on Instagram a while ago saying that she got saved a year ago.
Following her announcement, she has been widely criticized. She admitted to have heard funny accusations after she gave her life to Jesus.
“I have heard the most ridiculous things since. I announced that I got saved. Guys claim that I am switching to gospel because of money.”
“I was born again a while back. Before I made the announcement, no one said anything. People can be judgmental and it’s often based on perception. I prefer to focus on my relationship with God and getting to know Him more,” Amani stated.
The veteran singer’s music journey started 18 years ago owing to her oozing Passion for music. Her exuding passion thrusted her into the entrepreneurial world of music.
“In God’s timing. God placed the gift in me for a reason and I believe that one of the reasons is for the glory of his name,” she added.
The talented singer encouraged other celebrities who believe in Christ to transform their lives adding that her journey in Christ is beautiful.

The Diva luxury boss opened up about her hair line which she says has been running for close to a year now.
“Diva Luxury focuses on crochet braids. Being an entrepreneur has kept me busy and introduced me to a whole new world of limitless possibilities. We are currently in over 30 stores in Nairobi and several others outside Nairobi. We are growing each day and I am learning a lot, “the missing my baby” hit maker said.”
