The Trend’s New Host Amina Abdi quits

Amina is a queen of many crowns in the Media Industry

Amina who has been hosting a show dubbed “Hits Not Homework” has decided to shift her attention from the show and focus more on TV shows and Emceeing at Events, with other two shows coming up.

Last show

Through her social Media Pages (Facebook), Amina revealed that the “TakeOverThursday” show was her last appearance on Hits Not Homework.

Amina has been hosting the show alongside the Super Talented DJ Joe Mfalme.

“It's been a great run on Capital FM's Hits Not Homework, almost 5 years of learning, growth and so much fun. Tune in to my last show right now alongside ” Wrote Amina Abdi On Facebook.

Despite, Leaving "Hits Not Homework" Amina has promised that she will be hosting other two new shows on Capital FM.

"I'll be leaving Hits Not Homework after 5 fantastic years I'll be hosting 2 other new shows on  but first I need to hand over the mantle to YOU!! I'll be looking for 2 presenters between 19 & 25. No prior experience required- just be dope. Tag someone who'd love to join the  family. Listen to Hits Not Homework from 7pm to find out more. All the best. " wrote Amina

Currently the TV Girl is the Host of “The Trend” after replacing Larry Madowo who decided to focus more on Politics and current affairs by starting his own show dubbed “Side Bar”.

Before Landing at Nation Media Group, Amina was the Host of K24 Alfajiri alongside Ian Wafula

Amina also host another TV Show on Maisha Magic East dubbed “The Turn Up” alongside Joe Mfalme.
