“In this image, I am also pregnant with our baby who we tragically lost that same week to a miscarriage. There are so many emotions tied up here,” she wrote on her Instagram.
Her and her husband, Sauti Sol manager Marek, had visited the conservancy on the first wedding anniversary.
One year after however, the couple welcomed their first-born child Kenzo.
“We have our new beginning in our baby Kenzo who was born one year later.”
Death of Sudan
The Ol Pejeta Conservancy announced the death of Sudan earlier on today. Sudan died at the age of 45 due to health complications.
“It is with great sadness that Ol Pejeta Conservancy and the Dvůr Králové Zoo announce that Sudan, the world’s last male northern white rhino, age 45, died at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya on March 19th, 2018 (yesterday).”
Sudan was being treated for age-related complications that led to degenerative changes in muscles and bones combined with extensive skin wounds.
His condition however worsened significantly in the last 24 hours making him even unable to stand up and was suffering a great deal.
