"Saint P and I came up with the song when we were jamming in the studio and thought it would be a really great song," said Avril while Apass said that "The song was a different concept and it was something he wanted to do. When the song was presented to me I liked it and I felt like I could jump on it."
To create some hype around the song Avril has been doing a number of media interviews and one of them was on Ebru TV’s ‘The Edge’ where she got to talk about her music and also play some games.

One of the games she was playing was ‘Would You Rather’ and she was asked ‘Between Khaligraph, Octopizzo or King Kaka’ who she would rather marry? ’
“Lord! Why are you putting me in this situation? I am a fan of all of them.” She said before confirming that among them ‘Baba Yao’ aka Khaligraph could be her hubby.
And if she were to go on a date with Khaligraph she would choose Malindi over Maasai Mara because she loves the ocean. “I love the water, I love the ocean so definitely Malindi.”
