Bobi Wine's house hit with explosives due to his call for reforms

The musician turned politician is among Mp’s who have been opposing the new bill meant to do away with age limit for the presidency seat in Uganda.

Early this week Bobi wine was barred from attending media interviews at various Radio and TV stations in Uganda due to his firm stand on proposed amendments.

“Learn from history, but again, dictators never learn from history. White people say that history repeats itself but Eriya Kategaya said “stupid people repeat history", I believe Kategaya. Whenever regimes attempt to suppress the press and keep people in darkness, they never go far. You may switch the radios off air, but you cannot switch off the resolve of the people to protect and defend the Constitution and to better their country. You can switch off some microphones- but the people shall soon speak- loud and clear.” said Bobi Wine

Say no to life Presidency, has been the battle for Bobi Wine since the bill to amend the constitution was tabled in parliament.

“I was earlier today blocked from proceeding from Entebbe airport to my home on my way back from New York where I and my wife had gone for the Global Citizens week and the Goalkeepers conference. I have been interrogated for 5hours in custody at Entebe police station. I maintain my stand. "don't touch article 102b" Don't Rape our constitution. Say No to life presidency” said Bobi wine
