While in the past white, silver, and grey hair were shunned by the younger generation, they have now become a part of the latest hair phenomenon and Wema is the latest to jump on the granny hair train.
Wema joins the daring list of people in the entertainment and fashion scene like Vanessa Mdee, Hollywood A-listers like Kylie Jenner and other trendsetters who have embraced this trend.
Her make-up was done by Lavie Make-up and the photos were taken by Benard Atilio for an upcoming project.

To get Wema’s look you can get a weave or a wig or if you are more daring, have your hair dyed that colour. A colour that is achieved by adding grey dye on top of the platinum blonde hair. If you do not have naturally blonde hair, the first process is bleaching your hair to a light blonde hair which is done in two rounds of bleaching.
A purple toner is then added to the hair to counteract the yellow in the hair then it’s rinsed out before the grey hair dye is added. But I wouldn’t advise you to bleach the hair yourself unless you have done it in the past and it worked or if you are a professional. I think the best thing is to consult a professional to get the best results.
