Speaking on ‘Let’s Talk’ about how she hit Juliani up, Brenda said “I love rap, hip hop all that. I was a big HUGE fan. And I used to do short braids whenever he was going to perform so that I can shake my hair as well. And when I got to the industry I was like ‘Oh maybe now I can finally get to meet this icon, this person who I really enjoyed his music. So I was like ‘Hey I like your music’ and whatnot and the rest is history.”

Brenda’s guts paid off as the two have been together for close to 5 years and are set to wed very soon after Juliani’s romantic proposal which you can read about here.
But it has taken a lot of time and effort to get where they are today.
The two have been sustained by one thing, sticking together when you want to give up. Brenda disclosed that the secret to a happy and sustainable relationship/marriage is not taking the easy way out when things start to heat up and get difficult.
“I feel like this generation people give up very easily when it comes to relationships. There are always those relationships that you know for a fact can’t work but (in a good relationship) ni muhimu kuvumiliana na kusaidiana, helping each other. Grow together. Unfortunately, people are giving up very easily nowadays.” Brenda said on ‘Let’s Talk’.
