Brenda Wairimu is a person whose comment section is usually wholesome with many uplifting comments but once in a while, the negative comments creep in.
Brenda Wairimu reacts to rude ‘you need to eat’ comments on recent photo
People claimed that she is ‘too skinny’ in recent photos.
Such as some ‘fans’ who expressed ‘concern’ in a derogatory way over her recent body weight.
The ‘Disconnect’ star recently posted a picture wearing a mini–skirt and some skinny-shaming remarks crept into her comment section but she had a comeback for all the body-shaming comments.
“Now you need to eat girl,” one wrote while another added “Na umekonda siku hizi mtu wangu. Kwani haukuli?”
“Kula tafadhali,” another rude one wrote and one thought it was funny to post “Lol shawty looking like she might STICK around.”
Others went overboard with one writing “This year’s drought is better than last year’s - DP Ruto.” And that is when Brenda had to reign in the madness by writing “Don’t you find this distasteful even in the slightest? With actual lives lost? “
She told another that they should send money through MPESA so she can eat.

Brenda’s struggles with weight
Brenda has in the past disclosed that she doesn’t like being put on the spot over her weight.
She expressed her disdain over an article where Pierra Makena was slammed for her baby weight and in the same breadth praised Brenda Wairimu for her figure.
“...They did a story on Pierra and the story was kind of attacking her for not losing her baby weight yet as if she wants to, they are assuming that she is not comfortable in her own skin. And I kind of feel that the article that came out today that was celebrating, and I put that in quotes because there is a better way to celebrate people who have had babies. They were celebrating mothers who have snapped back. And as much as I am thankful. ‘Thanks, I made the list’ does it mean that I have been validated? Are they now setting the standards of how you should look like after having a child?” she asked during her Let's Talk show.
She then went to open up about the tragedy that made her lose her weight and get the body Pulse praised.
"You have no idea what made me lose my baby weight. I lost my mum four months after my baby was born. I was stressed to death. So you have no idea what people have gone through to get this body you now deem idealistic and then now you are putting other people on the spot while telling me I look good. It just doesn’t sit well with me,” Brenda said.
