"Let me show you the types of people everyone needs in their life. And most of us underlook it. We know we need these types of people. We need people who despise us, people who will wake up and assertively say, that one can't manage," Barbie said in a video shared on TikTok.

"They are not the right person, that one is lazy. People who despise us strengthen our resolve. Most of the time you wake up and say, let me do it to show them that I can handle it. We need such people in our lives.”

The video has so far generated over 3400 comments.

A TikTok user who goes by Venelrosy said: "You a very right. I did a lot because of that. Be it completing school, be it being a child, I grew up. Be it getting married [all] coz of those people."

Sylvia Namutyaba commented: "Awww best message so far this month."

Hyrine said: "You are right, first lady 🥰🥰much respect mama."

Batenga47 da princess commented: "Thru those pipo we stay focused and strengthened and God proves his mighty powers thru such, thanks our queen."

In another video, Barbie recently argued that you shouldn't be friends with someone you don't look up to.

"These are the types of people you should not get close to in your life," Barbie, the wife of singer and politician Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, starts.

"If there are people you spend most of your time with, but what they talk about, what they do, and how they think doesn't make you feel like you should be like them, get a new circle."

At 38 and being married to a rich and celebrated figure, Barbie, who was raised in a village in Ntungamo, has possibly met people from all walks of life and she knows a thing or two about meaningful friendships and leveraging them for success.
