Lady Mandy, wife to Sauti Sol guitarist Polycarp Otieno has for the first time talked about her pregnancy journey, a few months after she gave birth to her first born.
In a post seen by Pulse Live, the new mum said that she truly enjoyed being pregnant, and even felt the most confident, beautiful and peaceful, in the whole of her adult life.
Lady Mandy went on to state that all this happened in the midst of a pandemic, but she is forever grateful that it happened.
She added that not the same can be said for many other women who were or have been pregnant before.
“Friends, I truly enjoyed my pregnancy 🙆🏽♀️ yo, I felt the most confident, beautiful, at peace and probably most positive I have ever been in all my adult life. EVEN in the middle of a whole pandemic. I am forever grateful for this, as I know sometimes it cannot be said for many women. For that, I documented so much... like what am I going to do with all the preggers pictures? 🙆🏽♀️ y'all will have to endure me sharing them with you 🤣🤣🤣,” said Lady Mandy.
Her words come about a month after the Otieno’s announced the birth of their firstborn.
Taking to social media, Polycarp who is also known as Fancy Fingers wrote, “For all those asking how Baby O and Mama O are doing, wako feet tu sana! 😍😍”
The announcement was made a few weeks after their baby had been born.
