Bernard Ndong's tribute to Jahmby Koika: Tumekuwa marafiki for almost 20 years. She was very special to me as a friend. Tuko na my fried who travelled all the way from Rwanda to come and escort our sister. In University, I saw a statement' Siogi na Siogi' and I thought it was very hilarious for most people who knew Jahmby she was na entrepreneur. She made me a T-shirt and it is the only thing I will remember her with. She is a sister I never had. I valued and cared for her. Jahmby kwaheri. We will miss you. It still feels like a dream.

Gloria Orwobas's tribute to Jahmby Koikai: The 1st Lady Rachel Ruto's message:

Am here today very sad na najua niko mengi but I'm trying to put my thoughts together.

I want to pass the message of the 1st lady who we will be working with to implement Jahmby's legacy of having an Endometriosis Center.

I met her in Kibera. She was kind enough and a friendship was built. She was also a politician and that is where we connected as well. She wanted us to work with the girls maneno ya Endometriosi.

We met severally and I was trying to convince her akuje paned yetu na tiket ya UDA. She was very keen on other things as well. I have known her for about a year. From what I know, she was a very straight forward person. Ni mtu hakua anakupatia grey areas. She tells you how it is. And I really appreciated that Bout her.

She was also very kind. Unfortunately, the week she was in hospital I called because mimi pia niliona kwa mtandao ako hosi... Akaniambia it's not so bad.

Nikienda kumuona nilikuwa nimetumwa na the 1st Lady Rachel Ruto. She was on her way to some functiona nd told me t send her on how we can intervene. Ilikuwa sas tuanze kupanga how we were going to move to Atlanata. Unfortunatly on monday morning Jahmby's fathecr alled me and told me we lost Jahmby and I think until now ni kama sija accept.

There is nothing much we can do. However, one thing we can do is continue with the legacy. Even in her absence she has already changed many things. The fact that the Office of the 1st lady is sitting down to strategies how to come up with an Endometriosis Center.
