Willy Paul courting Controversy
Google Trends divulged that the rankings were outlined in order by volume of searches across various regions and languages.
"Top searches are about what topped Google’s charts. The 'most searched' queries are the most popular terms (in this case, for the past 15 years)... Google Trends website analyses the popularity of search queries in Google Search and uses graphs to compare search volumes of different queries over time," the report read.
Willy Paul sparked interest over the last few years after his controversial move from the Gospel industry to make music as a secular/ contemporary artiste.
In recent days the Fall In Love singer has been open about his previous romantic relationships, noting that he almost contemplated suicide after discovering that a past lover had stepped out on their affair.
"My ex had unprotected sex with another man. This is the reason I wrote #HEARTBREAK with Alaine.
"That really broke my heart. I almost killed myself. Imagine kupata cells za mwanaume mwenzako kwa bibi yako? To date bado naumia. And that's why I teamed up with Alaine to bring you #HEARTBREAK. It's a short film that cost me $100,000. The video was shot in USA," he posted on his Instagram page.
An incident with Radio Maisha presenter Billy Miya saw the Liar singer cancelled over what was termed as arrogance.
“I remember when I was building him, I used to give him shows down at the coast na alikua ameniganda kama chawa lakini leo hii ananijibu 'who is this'.
“I have deleted your number and blocked it, don't even look for me in 100 years, enjoy your life bro,” Miya stated.
Miya had been trying to land an interview with the Sitolia star but all his efforts were futile, with the musician promising to call back.
“He picks then says he is calling back but doesn’t, over 100 times. I understand that it's his phone and has liberty to pick or ignore but in this industry we need each other to prosper,” Miya said.
