Churchill Show Comedian MCA Tricky

MCA Tricky is set to make his debut on 22 October in a new role that will take his career to a greater heights as a presenter.

The comedian whose real name is Paul Kimani Njoroge joins the Radio Maisha breakfast team and will co-host with Billy Miya in the Maisha Asubuhi show.

He is expected to add a touch of humor to the breakfast show and rope in new audience in the face of competition from rival radio stations.

Miya confirmed that “It is official, MCA Tricky has joined us in the morning show, he will be going live starting tomorrow. He will be going on air for two hours split into a 6-7 a.m segment and the additional hour will be from 9:00 a.m. We will now be three on the show”.

The comedian who was born in Makindu dropped out of school after sitting his KCPE exams in 2004.

He joined friends in Nairobi but the hard life in the city pushed him to the streets, becoming a street boy.

In a recent interview, MCA Tricky confessed that hard life pushed him to the limits and he "sniffed glue, smoked bang and got involved in crimes such as pick-pocketing and mugging. I did all these to survive".

His big break came when he was approached by Barikiwa Set Book Group for an acting role, an opportunity opened new doors.

The new role saw him establish contacts with Africa’s leading comedians Churchill among them Prof. Hamo.

From the streets where he spent three years, MCA tricky has risen to become a household name in Kenyan comedy, featuring o Churchill Show.

His comedy borrows heavily on his life on the streets, leaving the audience in stitches.
