What Citizen TV journalists have been doing since the media shutdown (Photos)
NTV and KTN are back on air but Citizen TV is not.
On February 6, 2018, NTV and KTN were back on air despite Royal Media services being the only media house that moved to court to prevent the government from interfering with their signal transmission.
A week is a very long time for a station of Citizen TV’s magnitude to be off air and their other options like watching their clips on YouTube, their website www.citizentv.co.ke and ViuSasa as well are not helping the station as much. This is because MBs aren't cheap and most people cannot access the internet via Wifi.
While we await the grand comeback of Citizen TV we are taking a look at what our favourite presenters and news anchors are doing since the major switch off.
From her Instagram, it seems that Maribe was at the Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa for business.
It’s been the Indian Ocean and sandy beaches for Joey Muthengi.
Just like Joey Lillian was off to a holiday of beaches, sun and hamocks.
On JKL this week the seasoned journalist hosted controversial lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi.
Steve Letoo and Anne Warui
Steve has been polishing up on his braiding skills on colleague Anne Warui who left for her leave yesterday.
Lulu Hassan and Francis Gachuri
The two have been upping their selfie game since the switch off.
The switch-off doesn’t seem to have affected Willis Raburu whose two shows ‘10 over 10’ and ‘Raburu on Hot’ have been at the top of the trend list.
The often serious news anchor presenter has been showing off her playful side.
The doting husband to Joyce Omondi has been the supporting husband and has been passionately pushing Joyce Omondi’ s new single ‘Jabali’ which you should definitely check out.
