City Tycoon Kelvin Shaban on why his cars have the 001 number plate

Kelvin Shaban the owner of popular Laviva Lounge is a popular fixture in our political and showbiz scene.

He has been spotted in the company of politicians like Moses Kuria, Rachel Shebesh, Babu Owino and Murang’a Women Rep Sabina Chege. He has also been spotted hanging out with showbiz personalities like Saumu Mbuvi, Mwalimu Rachel and Pierra Makena.

Just like people in his class, Shaban enjoys the finer things in life; beautiful women, flashy houses and flashier cars.

Just like other flamboyant celebrities like Mike Sonko and Reverend Natasha, Shaban owns a fleet of cars whose number plates are customized to suit his tastes.

While Sonko’s cars bear his name, Reverend Natasha’s cars bear the ‘Oracle’ name because she believes that she is an Oracle of God.

For Shaban, all his cars bear the 001 number plate. Number plates that have drawn curiosity towards them as many wonder why the number 001? Is he a close ally to Governor Joho who is popularly referred to as 001?

Mr Kelvin recently revealed to Pulse Live why the number 001 is important to him.

He disclosed that his car number plates are a reflection of his character and what he believes in, that is being number one. Mr Shaban explained that whether it’s business or his life, he always ensures he becomes number 1 in everything he does.
