Within less than 24 hours Wasafi TV has gotten nods of approval from fans, critics and musicians among them Nikki Mbishi.
Nikki sent out this message to Wasafi TV “Asante #WASAFITV nyie mmecheza wimbo wangu #NIMEKUMISS bila hata mimi kuwaletea, najua ndio mnaanza ila msisahau kuendelea hivi hivi.
Many were even more surprised when the station played a song from Diamond’s arch-rival Ali Kiba which was in line with Diamond’s promise that everyone’s music would have a chance at the station.
“Fighting with Ali does not help me in any way and I don’t gain anything. It does not add or reduce anything so why would I do it... We need to show young artistes that we got the chance and we used it well and not to create hate” Diamond said on Times FM’s The Playlist.
