During an interview with Dizzim Online, Chibu described Wema as a sister to him, in reference to their long term friendship that goes back several years.

He mentioned that sometimes bad things happen to good people, but the important thing is to make sure that they don’t repeat the mistakes.

Diamond added that when people are in love, they tend to get carried away and a lot can happen during that time.

The Sikomi singer asked people not to point fingers at Ms Sepetu over her ratchet videos as this things do happen in life.

“Inategemea, unapokua kwenye mahusiano vile vitu vinatokea sometimes. Upende usipende ni vitu ambavyo kila mtu anajua vinatokea. So siwezikumlaumu. Namuomba tu awe strong lakini ajitahidi ku-control visitokee tena kwa sababu wananchi wanampenda. Serikali pia inamtegemea awe mfano mwema. Wema ni zaidi ya dada yangu, namheshimu na kumpenda sana. Tulipotoka mimi na Wema ni mbali sana na hata kama hatuna mahusiano, urafiki wetu upo. Tunaamini kila binadamu kuna vitu vinatokea wakati hakupanga vitokee. So walikua katika sehemu zao wakiji-enjoy, wakiji-record.Ila kwa bahati mbaya ili-leak,” said Diamond.

Wema Leaked Video

In October, Wema found herself on the wrong side of the law after a video surfaced online showing her in bed making love with a man she identified as her "future husband".

In Tanzania, anybody who violates the electronic laws put in place is supposed to be banned for six months, in addition to barring them from using social media or participating in any works related to music or Film.

For Wema, she was banned from participating in any film-related works indefinitely with a fine of Tsh10 million.
