Surprising new twist in Hamisa and Diamond’s court case

Last month, Hamisa went to court to sue Diamond for child neglect accusing Diamond of failure to provide for his son for close to two months.

It seems that the drama between Diamond and Hamisa is far from over as their recently closed court case has been re-opened.

Last month, Hamisa went to court to sue Diamond for child neglect accusing Diamond of failure to provide for his son for close to two months.

Diamond however rubbished Hamisa’s claims, arguing that he had been taking care of his son since he was born.

Hamisa through her lawyers argued that Diamond was unwilling to pay Hamisa for the child's upkeep in an affidavit presented before the Children’s Court in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Hamisa had demanded a monthly upkeep of Ksh 230,000 from Diamond but suffered a major blow after the court dismissed the case.

The drama may not be over yet as the case has been re-opened. This is according to popular Tanzanian broadcaster Soudy Brown who confirmed the news on his Instagram post saying:

"INASEMEKANA ETI.... Ile Kesi ya Madai iliyofunguliwa na Mama Daylan dhidi ya Baba Daylan Kudai Mtonyo wa Matunzo imefunguliwa upya, Kesi hiyo wiki iliyopita ilifutwa kutokana na kukosewa kwa baadhi ya vipengele.... Uzuri wa Kesi Hii haendi mtu Segerea... Ila milioni 5 Itapendeza (The recently closed court case between Mama Daylan (Hamisa) and Baba Daylan (Diamond) has been re-opened. The case was closed following a lack of enough evidence)

It is not clear why the case has been re-opened.
