Avril reveals details of her relationship with Diamond
The singer has given interesting details on the kind of relationship she has with Zari’s beau Diamond Platnumz.

“Everyone thought Diamond and I dated and others thought I was now a video vixen, but it was all music, and even up to date, we chat. ” She said during an interview with Word Is.
She then went on to rubbish claims of a romantic relationship with the singer by revealing that their relationship is purely professional. And since she starred in his video the two developed a professional relationship and a friendship that has served her well to date. This is because before she releases a song; she seeks Diamond’s approval since she values it given his standing in the music scene. “I send him a track before I release a song because I value his opinion.”
Despite having a great working and personal relationship with the foreign artist, she wasn’t too excited that the Kenya Wildlife Board picked a foreigner Eddy Kenzo a Ugandan as their brand ambassador.

She expressed that she was best placed to show appreciation of the country when compared to an outsider.
“ In my music, I always try and paint the picture of Kenya, and so as a Kenyan, I would be best placed to show appreciation of the country, as compared to an outsider, who doesn't even speak Kiswahili. I hope one day they will use a Kenyan to represent Kenya.” She said.
