Wema Sepetu to work under Diamond Platinumz in a new deal

Wema Sepetu lands a new deal

Wasafi records is owned by Diamond Platnumz and has grown immensely since its inception in 2014.

Diamond Platnumz was recently given the go ahead by Tanzania’s president Pombe Magufuli to open Wasafi TV.

The self-made singer shared the good news with her fans. He announced that he had been handed broadcasting license for the Wasafi TV and Wasafi radio by the Minister of Culture, Information and tourism.

The Wasafi boss was quick to extend his gratitude to President Magufuli and the Minister in-charge. He stated that his main aim for establishing the enterprise was to create jobs for journalists.

His post read; “Leo tulikabidhiwa Rasmi Leseni ya @wasafitv na @wasafifm na Mh Waziri wa Habari, Tamaduni, Utalii na Michezo Zanzibar mh Rashid Ali Juma.....Shukran Nyingi ziifikie Serikali ya Mapinduzi Zanzibar na Jamuhuri nzima ya Muungano wa Tanzania...Ma raisi wetu pendwa Dr John Pombe Magufuli & Dr Ali Mohammed Shein,”

Following the launch, Wema Sepetu will her have program aired in the anticipated Television. However it is not yet clear what her new show will entail.

Diamond recently made known that Wasafi records will soon spread its wings to Kenya. He made the new announcement on his social media.
