But before the breakup, Wema and Diamond had an on-off-on again relationship with the Bongo star that was marred by cheating scandals with Jokate Mwegelo being one of the women Diamond cheated with.
Wema recently opened up like never before about her tumultuous relationship with Diamond Platnumz which the mother did not approve of.
This is because Wema’s mother did not like Diamond as she thought he was a bad influence after Wema left the U.S.A where she had gone to stay with her sister to come meet the man she had been chatting with on Facebook.

“When she discovered the reason for my return, she grounded me; she was worried about me spending time with him. She didn’t like him.” Wema said during an interview with True Love Magazine.
But this was just the beginning of the bad relationship Wema’s mum had with the ‘Number One’ singer. The relationship between Wema’s mum and Diamond got confrontational after Wema lied that she had a charity project in Zimbabwe only to shack up with Diamond, something that greatly infuriated her mum on learning of it after Wema was spotted in a bus in Tanzania with Diamond.
“My mum was furious because I was supposed to be in Zimbabwe and not with Diamond. And since my phone my phone was switched off, she managed to get his number and call him. She gave him a piece of her mind and told him that she wanted nothing to do with him, but I was young and in love and didn’t care.” She said.
On noticing her daughter’s stubbornness when it came to Diamond, Mama Sepetu was forced to accept the relationship for the sake of her daughters’ happiness even if she wasn’t too fond of Diamond.
However, Wema’s decision to stay with Diamond proved to be detrimental to her mental health as girls kept throwing himself at him and in the end, Diamond cheated on her with Jokate who was a video vixen in one of his videos.

Something which echoes Zari’s experience as Diamond was said to have cheated with a video vixen by the name Hamisa Mobetto who starred in his ‘Salome’ video with Rayvanny.
