Diamond wins award for 'Philanthropic Endeavour Community Action' in London

WCB Boss, Chibu Dangote, won an award for the Philanthropic Endeavour Community Action following his contribution in the society in the just concluded Best of Africa Awards.

The event that was held in London brings together artistes, footballers and leaders who have played major roles in their field of specialization as well as helping the community.

It also recognizes and promotes the modern African story through sport and other ventures, in the United Kingdom and overseas.

During the gala, Diamond had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with other notable figures, among them Rio Ferdinand, a former professional footballer who played for Manchester United.

Winners

Others on the list of winners include; British-Ghanaian rapper Fuse ODG, Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace), Mosamba, N’golo Kanté (Chelsea) and British rapper and singer Stormzy.

Yaya Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor, Asamoah Gyan Victor Wanyama, Sadio Mane, Alex Iwobi and Andre Ayew were also part of the event.

BoA is an awards meant to honor and celebrate the philanthropic endeavours and achievements of footballers of African heritage and other stakeholders.

New Born

The win comes days after Diamond welcomed a bouncing baby boy with his Kenyan girlfriend Tanasha Donna. Their son shares the same birthday date as Diamond.
