I can’t pay Hamisa Mobetto 5 million a month – Diamond opens up

The Case takes a new twist

A few weeks ago Hamisa sued Diamond for Child Neglect and their Case was mentioned on November 2, 2017, where both parties were given time to defend themselves.

According to the outcome of the case, Chibu Dangote is not willing to pay Hamisa 5 million a month as stated in the affidavit presented before the Children’s Court in Dar ea Salaam, Tanzania.

Diamond’s lawyer urged that the amount is very high and therefore his client will not be able to raise such a high amount.

In the case Hamisa had requested to be given 5 million as child up keep.

Through her lawyers, Hamisa asked the Court to order Diamond to pay the up keep money and also apologize in public for the defamatory comments he made about her in a live radio interview on Clouds FM.

The case has been given another mention on November 8 where the Court will deliver a ruling of whether Diamond will pay the requested amount or it will be reduced.

Hamisa who went ahead to name the baby after Diamond Platnumz has been enjoying attention from her followers with everyone yearning to know the next twist that will unfold.

Diamond was summoned by Dar es Salaam children’s court to answer to the charges filed against him by Ms Mobetto. The charges were filed by Mobetto’s two lawyers Abdullah Zulu and Walter Godluck from the Century Attorneys & Co Advocates.

According to the charges, Mobetto accused Diamond of failure to provide for his son for close to two months.This is contrary to Diamond’s version of the story when he confessed to being the child’s father, while also claiming that he has been providing child support since conception.

Diamond further claimed that he has been paying his baby mama a daily upkeep of Tsh70,000 (Sh3,131) as well as buying her a brand new Toyota Rav 4 worth Tsh20 million (Sh895,301).
