Diamond’s tough warning to rivals and haters after shutting-down Sierra Leone

He performed to over 70K people

The crowd Diamond Pulled in Sierra Leone. Diamond’s tough warning to rivals and haters after shutting-down Sierra Leone

WCB President Diamond Platnuzm has sounded a warning at his main rivals Clouds FM and those jealous of his success to get ready for more disappoints, as he is determined to prove them wrong.

For years now, Diamond has been in bad blood with Tanzania’s biggest media House Clouds Media Group, to a point they never appreciate or acknowledge his efforts to put Bongo Flava on the world map.

Over the Weekend, Chibu Dangote was in Sierra Leone where he managed to fill up a stadium with over 70K people as the Main Act of Ecofest, an annual event in the country.

Despite the massive turn out that was witnessed in Sierra Leone, just a small section of the Tanzanian music industry bothered to congratulate him.

In a statement on his Instagram, Platnumz mentioned that some people will always hate on other people’s success for no apparent reason.

He went on to throw shade at Clouds FM (Main rivals), organizers of Tigo Fiesta who have lowered their ticket pricing (Tsh3000) ahead of their much hyped concert (Tigo Fiesta Dar es Salaam).

Its time to acknowledge Diamond

His words were echoed by legendary Music Producer Nahreel of the duo Navy Kenzo, who said that, it's high time Tanzanians start to recognize and acknowledge what Diamond is doing for their music industry.

“Ingekua ni msanii ambae sio mtanzania hapo, ungesikia wasanii wabongo mnakwama wapi? ila kafanya @diamondplatnumz basi its a different story, juzi mwakinyo (boxer) kashinda tunasema kabebwa, @samagoal77 asipoifungia taifa mnasema sio mzalendo, watanzania sisi sijui ni watu wa aina gani, ndio maana hata juzi kilichotokea kwenye tamasha la msanii wa nje wasanii wa ndani tukanyamaza #tujivunie,” commented Nahreel.
