Today we look at famous Kenyan personalities have confessed that they are fervent followers of the world's most exciting football league, the English Premier League.

The Raverend is a firm supporter of the blues (Chelsea) and to show his dedication, he saved up and went for a match at Wembley Stadium to support Chelsea. Unfortunately, his first live Premier League game was off to a bad start as Arsenal thoroughly thrashed the blues.

K24’s News editor/anchor Isabella Kituri Mwagodi supports Manchester United which was recently listed as the third most profitable team in Europe by a UEFA report.

3. Maina Kageni

The King of Morning radio is a diehard fan of Manchester United. And Man U returned the favour by gifting Maina with not one but two vehicles from Chevrolet with the Man U logo.

No female media personality enjoys football quite like Carol Radull who has been a sports commentator for over a decade. The die-hard Arsenal fan has met legends like Robert Pires and Nwankwo Kanu and even induced jealousy after she exchanged a peck with French hunk Thierry Henry.

5. Raila Odinga

Carol Radull’s uncle Raila is also a fan of Arsenal. The NASA flag bearer has also supported Liverpool, Hannover 96 and Bayern Munich in the past.

Speaking in an interview with Radio Maisha last year, the former Prime Minister disclosed that Manchester United was one of his favourites in the 1970's but he stopped supporting them due to hooliganism during the matches.

“For a whole year, Manchester United was playing without fans in the stadium. That is when I moved to support Arsenal. Since that time, I never left Arsenal.” He divulged.

6. Mwalimu King’ang’i

Maina Kageni’s co-host Mwalimu King’ang’i is a firm supporter of the blues and has been very vocal about his support for the English premier league team especially on social media.
