Eric Omondi

Eric Omondi has launched a new show on Afripods.

Afripods is an application on Google Play and App Store that offers the best podcasts in Africa. Eric Omondi’s new show will be called “Hawayuni” and he is possibly the first Kenyan comedian to do so.

Breaking the good news on social media Afripods wrote “We are honoured to welcome a man who has been voted ‘One of the 10 funniest men in Africa’! As the leading comedian in Kenya and pioneer in social media, it is no surprise that Eric Omondi @ericomondi with his very first Afripods podcast ‘Hawayuni’ want to be an early adopter and test a new digital channel like podcasting or ‘radio on demand’ as some like call it.

"Eric's career in comedy began when he joined the ‘Churchill Show’ on Kenyan TV some years ago. He later left Churchill to launch his own show which aired on KTN to later do the show ‘Somewhere in Africa’ and ‘Untamed’. Currently, Eric mainly focuses on doing parodies via his Youtube and Instagram (1.5 million) channels and doing regular large live shows in Kenya and abroad. On Afripods and through his first test into podcasting Eric plan to explore, develop, be topical, funny and entertaining at the same time so subscribe to this channel not to miss any episodes.”
