Eric Omondi’s Italian fiancée warns gossipers backbiting her using Kiswahili

Eric Omondi’s fiancée Chantal Grazioli took to social media to talk about some struggles she has had when it comes to dating a very public figure.

Grazioli who is half Italian half Kikuyu disclosed that people often gossip about her in her presence using Kiswahili because they think that she doesn’t understand the language.

The Italian beauty revealed that’s she is very fluent in Kiswahili and 4 other languages including Spanish, Kikuyu, English and Italian.

“Habari zenu? Mko poa hata mimi niko poa. Sasa mimi niko hapa kusema mimi naongea Kiswahili fluent. In fact naongea lugha tano Kiswahili Kizungu, Kikukyu, Spanish na Italian,” she said in an Instagram video.

She then went on to narrate how she heard some girls gossip about her at a restaurant as they didn’t think she knows Swahili. After they gossiped, they came over to say hi to her and were gobsmacked when she replied in Kiswahili and informed them that she is very fluent in Kenya's national language.

“Next time mikiniona msinisengenye nitaswakia,” she said.
