Diamond’s sister speaks on the singer proposing to Hamisa

To show how serious he was about the wedding, Diamond included something special in his A Boy from Tandale album a song called Iyena which is a Swahili wedding song.
As you are all probably aware, Iyena is a very special song to Diamond because it’s not only one of his favorite songs in his new album but also his wedding song.
“I am getting married this year. That’s why I promised my mum I would do it sababu hataki nitangatange. I found fame at around 20 and at that point I met some beautiful girls like the ones I see on TV and I had to have relations with them, girls I couldn’t see from Tandale.” He said on Times FM.

According to the grapevine, Hamisa is the lady who would be walking down the aisle to Iyena since she is the one who has gotten so close to Diamond in recent times. Some have even gone ahead and referred to her as Esma’s wifi (sister-in-law).
However, Esma does not like being referred to as Hamisa’s wifi and recently declared that she has no sister-in-law as her brother is not married. ”Mimi sina wifi sababu ndugu yangu hajaoa. Kwa hivyo akioa ndio nitakwambia nina wifi na anaitwa fulani, kama mtu hajaolewa ni shoga wangu.” Esma said on Timamu TV.
She also spoke on the rumour of Hamisa marrying her brother and said that she has not heard of any news of a proposal from Diamond.
Esma’s words during a separate interview also highlighted her strained relationship with Mama Dylan who she was once close with.
