Netizens want Mtoto wa Mama, Kevin Bahati to declare his stand and choose whether he wants to do Secular or Gospel music.

Fans accused him of confusing them claiming that he was once their inspiration but now he had lost his way and his content was becoming meaningless.

Others claimed that the he was following the footsteps of Willy Paul and if he has decided to do Gengetone, he should come clean about it. Some fans assumed the singer had switched his style of music because there was no money in the Gospel industry.

This comes after the lover singer took to Instagram to disclose that he would be dropping the song dubbed 'Kererembe' today.

Last month, Bahati landed in trouble with a section of his fans after featuring Gengetone group Boondocks Gang in his song 'Taniua'.

Many criticized Bahati on grounds that the song had zero spiritual content yet he is a gospel singer; others argued that they would only watch the song because he had featured their favorite secular group.
