Mama Ida Odinga celebrates her late son’s 43rd birthday with touching message

It has been a year and a few, months since the Odingas lost their son, Fidel Odinga. However his memory lives on and this is why his mum celebrates his birthday today, November 3, 2016.

 

Mama Ida Odinga shared a powerful message through her social media handles to mark the day the late Fidel Odinga was born. Today he would have turned 43, something his mum would have been proud of.

Although you are physically gone, you are spiritually present in our thoughts and in our hearts. Rest in peace Fidel and HAPPY BIRTHDAY. She wrote

This is the second birthday the Odingas are marking in honor of their late son. Fidel Odinga was found dead in his home in Nairobi after a night out with his friends. According to the police the cause is not yet clear but his family has since moved on.

A few months ago Raila Odinga and his family gathered around to celebrate Fidel’s son’s 3 birthday as a way of showing that they are still one despite losing a member of their united family.
