Kenyan man charged with bestiality after shameful act with two sheep

Hosea Kyeng was charged in a Marakwet West court for being sexually involved with sheep which later died.

The accused who denied the charges was arraigned in court on Tuesday and indicted for committing an unnatural offense which is contrary to Section 162 (b) of the Penal Code.

The sheep which belonged to one John Korir died after the awful experience.

Angered area residents of Kabomo village, Kapsumiai location where the ill-fated incident took place pointed out that this was not the first time Kyeng is involves with animals as he is fond of it.

Edwin Kipkorir, a resident of Kabomo revealed that Kyeng was held captive by locals who made threats to have him assassinated but he was later rescued by the police.

The accused who appeared before Iten magistrate Nelly Adolo will remain under police custody since he was unable to raise Sh 200,000 which was the required amount for his bond.

One Duncan Chelashaw told the court that prosecution will line up five witnesses against the accused.

This unfortunate incident has come barely three months after a similar incident took place in Machakos where a man raped two goats to death.

Mbithu Munyau was arrested after his mother reported the matter to the police.

“After his mother raised alarm, the suspect was apprehended by area Chief Bethwel King’ele who handed him over to Kangundo Police Station.”
