I proposed to Tina Kaggia 11 days after knowing her - JB Masanduku

Tina Kaggia and JB Masanduku had one of the most talked about relationships and their divorce was one of the most explosive ones with each party levelling accusations at each other.

Tina accused JB of being a ‘charming and sick, sadistic diabolic piece of work’ and also accused him of ‘neglect, manipulation and pathological lying’.

Things which made their relationship flop and drove her to drinking and even made her contemplate suicide.“I disappeared for four months because I needed medical attention for depression; I was suicidal at this point.” She confessed to Pulse.

JB, on the other hand, accused Tina of being a very violent drunkard who would make him her punching bag due to her short temper that was accelerated by drinking.

Rushed Marriage

The comedian recently spoke why things in their relationship got so ugly. In an interview with Massawe Jappani, JB disclosed that they rushed into marriage. He revealed that he popped the question 11 days after meeting.

“I think we rushed, we didn’t take time to know each other. You know I proposed to her after 11 days of knowing her. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11, will you marry me? Yes. Twende kazi!” he confessed.

JB Meets Tina

JB met Tina after he came for an audition at Radio Jambo. “I met her at Radio Jambo when I came for auditions and I was to do a show with Ghost. When I was doing a voice test in the studio, I saw a beautiful light skin girl who was waving. I asked the producer who that was and he said it was Tina Kaggia.”

JB later got a chance to work with Tina and after working together for a while their chemistry translated off air and JB decided to pop the question. Which was not a very good decision as they would drink a lot and fight.

“Honestly we used to drink a lot. There were arguments and her temper was as short as her so she used to beat me up. She would punch me... I had taken a couple of P3 forms,” He explained.
