Mbusi explains why he did not pick his Head of State commendation award

According to the radio Personality he was not aware that such a list existed and he had not expected such a recognition from the President’s Office.
He added that he is so happy to have featured on the List, although he came to learn about it later on.
“Kwanza nafeel nikiwa Irie kwa mawingu ya juu kabisa! I didn’t expect the special recognition because I did not have any idea there was such a list. Funny thing, I actually never made an appearance either at Kasarani Stadium or State House,” said Mbusi on Radio Jambo

Mbusi is hoping that the award will help him propel his life to the next level by opening more doors of opportunities.
“There are corporate gigs that I wasn’t lucky enough to secure, and maybe this special recognition will just but open doors. 2017 I would say since I started out as a presenter has been my best year yet,” added Mbusi.
This year’s List for Head of State Commendation was criticized by a section of Kenyans who felt that, some of the people who featured on the list did not deserve the award.
Gospel Artist, Ben Gitahi and Githeri Man were some of the people who received the online hatred more.
