I’m very sorry- Rapper Fid Q forced to apologise to Diamond

Renowned Tanzanian rapper Fredrick Kubanda, popularly known by the stage name Fid Q, has landed in trouble with WCB Wasafi’s management after mocking their upcoming Wasafi festival scheduled for November 24th, in Mtwara.

Fid Q has been forced to eat a humble pie and apologize to Diamond and his Wasafi Team, following a show promo he shot with Clouds Media Group to promote Tigo Fiesta came out in bad test.

In his message, Fid Q outlined that he did not intent to build bad blood between him and the WCB Wasafi Team.

In the show promo that triggered the apology, Fid Q was heard castigating Diamond and his team - accusing them of copying their competitors (Clouds Media) after they put up Wasafi Festival.

The sentiments did not augur well with Diamond’s manager who responded telling the Rapper to respect himself as he has nothing to offer than being used by the media house (Clouds Media Group) he is working for.

For the past 18 years, Tigo Fiesta sponsored by Clouds Media has enjoyed monopoly in Tanzania for being the biggest show, but since Diamond introduced Wasafi Festival - the wave seems to have changed and more people are drumming support for it.
