Sheila Kwamboka reveals the Inspiration behind Industry Nite

The outspoken Kwambox as she calls herself has revealed the inspiration behind Industry Nite a platform that gives Kenyan musicians voice to be heard.
Ms. Kwamboka who is among the main organizers of Industry Nite said that she got the inspiration while in Nigeria.

Speaking toPulseLive.co.keSheila said that the Nigerian version of Industry Nite motivate her to start her own version that is now doing so well in the entertainment market.
“Every single Nite you go out, you have to go and tell the Dj to play me this jam. But he won’t play any Kenyan jam. Only Kenyan songs played at that time were from the like’s akina E-sir. This challenged me to launch a program that could give our local artist exposure and a voice to be heard” said Sheila.
She added that Kenyan artist needs to support each other so that the industry can achieve great and quality music.
Kwambo x went ahead to compared the Kenyan industry with the Tanzanian one saying, Tanzanian tend to support their people more than Kenyans do.

The conversation had been built around the upcoming edition of Industry Nite.
The latest edition of Industry Nite dubbed Major League will be going down on the 8 September at the Tree House.
A number of Musicians have been lined up to perform under the theme celebrating the new emerging sounds from Nairobi.
Those scheduled to drill fans at the event are Barak Jacuzzi, Steph Kapela, Yvionna, Kerby, Ace the Don, Timmy Blanco, Jemedari, KIU, Linda 254 among others backed by a live band and 3 deejays.

Industry Nite
Industry Nite started back in 2014 to connect Kenyan talent and provide them with a platform to showcase emerging voices from all over Kenya.
Since the event kicked off more than 20, 000 people have been able to attend.
Apart from entertaining you, Industry Nite also educates you through its monthly workshops that aim at empowering artists across the country.
