The outspoken Kwambox as she calls herself has revealed the inspiration behind Industry Nite a platform that gives Kenyan musicians voice to be heard.
Ms. Kwamboka who is among the main organizers of Industry Nite said that she got the inspiration while in Nigeria.
Speaking to PulseLive.co.ke, Sheila said that the Nigerian version of Industry Nite motivate her to start her own version that is now doing so well in the entertainment market.
“Every single Nite you go out, you have to go and tell the Dj to play me this jam. But he won’t play any Kenyan jam. Only Kenyan songs played at that time were from the like’s akina E-sir. This challenged me to launch a program that could give our local artist exposure and a voice to be heard” said Sheila.
