Former Citizen TV’s 10 over 10 presenter Joey Muthengi has landed a new radio job at Capital FM.

Joey will be replacing Cess Mutungi who announced her exit from “The Jam984” after 10 years of holding it down on the airwaves.

Through her Insta-stories, Ms Muthengi put up a poster stating that soon she will be the new host of the “The Jam984”.

Goodbye after 10 years

On Wednesday, Cess thanked her fans for showing her tremendous love for a whole decade and making her show “the Jam98.4” a success.

@thejam984 @CapitalFMKenya Thank you for a fabulous 10years. Thank you for your love, support and strength. It's been amazing,” she tweeted.

Ms Mutungi will host her final show at Capital FM on Friday. However reports indicate that Mutungi will be shifting to host “the capital light night”.

Cess's career

Before joining Capital FM where she worked as the host and producer of The Jam98.4, Cess worked at the Royal Media Services; Hot 96 and Radio Africa Group's Kiss 100.

Other changes at Capital Fm will see Amina Abdi Rabar remain solo on “Breakfast984” as Maqbull exits the show.

Joey Muthengi joins VOA

On the other hand Joey was offered another job by the Voice of America popularly known as VOA.

“Omg. Voice Of America was my 1st internship. While still in college. I can't even. Look at God,”shared Joey Muthengi.

In November last year Ms Muthengi announced her exit, thanking the RMS management for giving her a chance to work with them.
