“Siwezi kuzungumzia hilo lakini kiufupi nilifurahi na ninampa hongera,” Alikiba said.

His words come days after Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli on Saturday last week announced the appointment of Jokate Mwegelo as Kisarawe Pwani District Commissioner.

Successful career

Jokate Mwegelo, who once dated singer Alikiba is a Tanzanian actress and a serious entrepreneur who is the C.E.O and brains behind the wildly successful Kidoti Loving, a fashion brand dealing mainly with hair, clothing and accessories.

Some of her followers however concluded that Jokate’s long silence was because of her ex-Alikiba’s April 19 wedding to a Kenyan lady, Amina Khalef.
