Has Jokate started new life after being sworn in as Government Official?

It seems new Kisarawe District Commissioner Jokate Mwegelo has decided to start afresh as a government official.

This is after the talented actress appeared to have deleted all of her photos from her Instagram page indicating she decided to have a major turnaround in her life.

Achievements

The actress who was the Youth League leader of President John Magufuli’s party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) before her recent appointment was sworn in by Coast Regional Head, Evarist Nikilo.

The Kidoti C.E.O was the best actress in the Zanzibar International Film Festival in2011. In 2017, she was included in Forbes 30 Under 30 in Africa. In August 2017 she was named by Africa Youth Awards as among of 100 Most Influential Young Africans. In 2006, she bacame first runner up in the Miss Tanzania beauty contest.

She was also named Redds fashion ambassador and Citizen newspaper ambassador, after receiving the most votes that year. Before Miss Tanzania, she competed in Miss Kurasini 2006, which she won, advancing to the Miss Temeke 2006 contest, which she also won.
