Joy Doreen recently left her job as a KTN news Anchor and as the official East African Correspondent for Deutsche Welle after landing a lucrative job with the Ministry of Mining.

The TV Girl made the transition towards the end of last year to settle in as the Advisor, Strategic Communications officer at the ministry.

Ms Biira who joined the Standard Media Group in January 2012 has talked about a possible return to the industry.
“Will you return to TV? I’d like to see you on ‘The View’ kind of set. Name 3 co-hosts you’d like on that show?” A fan asked in a Q& A session with fans.
