Taking his predicament on Facebook Saturday morning, Kanda revealed that he had been arrested in town and taken to Central for questioning, but failed to divulge the reasons behind his arrest.

“Sema kuwekwa ndani aki kanjo ...Mungu awasamehe. Till now in central police,” he wrote on Facebook.

Kanda in the recent past switched from dancing to singing and in an interview earlier with the Nairobian, he quipped that the decision was after his “elder sister Princess Farida used to be the leader of our band African Rhythm Band.”
