Akothee is one person who never shies away from talking about her past – however bad it might have been. Her daughter’s epic performance at the Miss Universe Kenya seems to have triggered all sorts of emotions – joy and regret in equal measure.
In an earlier post, Akothee had expressed how proud she was of her daughter after she emerged 1st runners up. She had showered her with praises but also admitted that by the time she was Rue’s age, she had nothing much to show save for children that she got at a very young age.
Akothee regrets not waiting to have sex
On another post, Madam boss regretted the life she led when she was younger and wished that she could have waited to have sex at the right time.
“At her Age @rue.baby it's only men were cheering me in the clubs OMEGA ONE MIGORI , escaping while my mom is asleep, jumping over the fences fetching for pregnancy, at her age ,I was already someones wife with 3 children! Gone through all sorts of humiliations of the world, had my second born delivered on the streets of Awendo town at midnight. Who was my role model then? Now see how hard I have to sweat for my next shilling just to feed the choir on the first video” read part of her post on her Facebook page.
“Why was I in a hurry with the monster MR SEX? Was it not worth waiting? Now I have the freedom to get pregnant, and I am running away from it like EBOLA. GOD WHY ME ! WITH ALL THE BLESSINGS? WHY?” she continued.
Kenyans, however, were fast to encourage her and assure her that there’s a reason for everything.
