Flamboyant singer kicked out of his rented seven-bedroom mansion in Karen

A few months ago, Ringtone declared himself the richest singer in Kenya. His money seems to have evaporated as he was kicked out of his rented house in Karen for failing to pay rent.

Sometimes in August 2016, Ringtone caused buzz on social media when he showed off his fleet of high-end vehicles and posh house as he claimed to be the richest musician in Kenya.

And just three months after baptizing himself Kenya’s richest singer, the gospel singer has been kicked out of his rented house at Muiri Gardens.

Nairobi News reports that the ‘Tenda Wema’ singer had been issued with an eviction notice after he failed to pay two months rented that amounted to Kes 400,000.

“Numerous requests by our client through his agent have been made for you to honor our obligations under the agreement in the last several weeks in vain and to date. You have not given any concrete proposals on how you intend to pay the said arrears and regularize the default. You have taken our client in circles and played with his agent a game of musical chairs and your said actions do not auger well with our client,” A termination of lease letter addressed to Ringtone by lawyers acting on behalf of his landlord read in part.

Apart from just being evicted, Ringtone’s landlord has given him 7 days to come up with the Kes 400,000 he owes him or face lawsuit.
