KTN launches new TV Channel

This is the 3rd station from the Kenya Television Network.

3 years after the launch of KTN News, a 24-hour television network, the Kenya Television Network has a new station in the works.

The Mombasa Road-based Television network will be launching a hot new entertainment channel called ‘KTN Burudani’.

The new station, which aims to appeal to the youth will be bringing a myriad of entertaining programs that include movies, comedy and music.

They will also have serious shows that appeal to the youth like ‘Hussle Yangu’ which will be hosted by Hassan Omar.

This is not Standard Group’s first attempt at reaching out to the youth, in the newspaper section they have about 3 pull-outs aimed at the youth. Pulse for entertainment stories, Hustle: A magazine that guides the youth in entrepreneurship and #Hashtag: A combo education magazine of issues in the sector and lifestyle of young people undergoing tertiary education.
