According to the Nairobian, Lilian divorced her husband two years ago. She filed for divorce at the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Milimani in Nairobi, on January 2016, citing “adultery, cruelty and desertion” as reasons for quitting.

The media personality also claimed that her ex-husband, Kanene was a man of unpredictable moods, ungovernable temper and violent in nature.
