Why booty-full cop was transferred from the lucrative Kiambu region to a backwater police station in Molo

There were even rumors that she had been demoted and taken to a backwater town to serve in a much lower rank. And it seems that her worst nightmare has become reality after she was demoted to a constable for receiving a 1,000 Kshs bribe 13 months ago.
What’s worse she has been transferred from the Traffic department and moved to the backwoods Molo police station where she will work as a general duties officer as The Star reports.
As a general duties officer, Linda’s job is to transfer violent prisoners into a police vehicle for transportation to court, respond to distress calls, make arrests and issue citations.

To avoid this situation, Linda should have swallowed her note just like this cop who decided to chug down 2,000 Kshs before making a run for it.
EACC’s regional boss George Ojowi said that the police officer was caught in the act of receiving a whole 2,000 Kshs from a Tuk tuk driver at Kongowea Market before swallowing it and disappearing from work.
