Linus Kaikai sends emotional message to NTV staff after exit

All the best Mr Kaikai in your future activities

He described his journey in the media as epic, having been able to maintain his professionalism in everything he did.

Kaikai announced his exit from the Aga Khan owned media house after a meeting that had been converged by the Top management at NMG.

In a statement issued by NMG management February 28, 2018, was the last day for Mr. Kaikai at Nation.

“Mr. Linus Kaikai General Manager broadcast will be leaving the Group effective February 28 2018. Linus joined the company in 2009 as the Managing Editor Broadcasting, where he seved for five years.” Reads part of the statement

Following the official announcement, Journalist from NMG took to social media to celebrate their exiting boss.

Those who shared their farewell wishes with Mr Kaikai include, Larry Madowo, Gladys Gachanja, Mark Masai, Trevor Ombija, Jamilah Mohammed, Smriti Vidyarthi among others.

Kaikai is also the chairman of editor’s guild. Through the union he has advocated for press freedom and condemned the government initiatives to control the media.

Self-Proclaimed NRM General Miguna Migiua also added his weight on Mr Kaikai's exit.
