KTN's Louis Otieno's case: Doctors reveal how his alleged lover was killed
Government pathologists have made shocking revelations concerning Careen's scandalous murder.
Her father told the court that her death came just a day after informing her parents about her decision to leave Louis.
The then employee of Kenya Power had allegedly taken a copious amount of loans to afford Louis’ luxurious lifestyle.
Now, three years later, the Chief government pathologist Dr. Charles Ondieki informed the court on Monday that the post-mortem results revealed that Careen had indeed been strangled to death.

According to the autopsy, Careen had suffered severe strangling as she bled from the eyes and neck muscles due to pressure applied during her murder.
He said, “There was bleeding in the left eye, there was also bleeding on the neck muscles. We formed the opinion that death was due to lack of oxygen due to manual strangulation.”
He also highlighted that there is a probability Careen was sexually assaulted before her death.
However, they have failed to prove this as samples taken at the crime scene could not be found after they were handed over to detectives from Kilimani police station who were in charge of investigating Careen’s murder.
Mr Oduor said, “We took samples for further analysis but I have never seen the report.”
