Singer Marya confirms break up with baby daddy

They wished and their wish was granted

Kenyan singer Marya has called it quits with her baby daddy Kevin Mutisya.

The Chokoza hit maker, whose real name Mary Maina Wanjiru, broke the news in one of her social media pages that has already been pulled down.

Single mum

In her post, the former girlfriend to Kenyan rapper Colonel Mustapha wrote that it will not be easy to be a single mum but God will guide her through.

They wished and there wish was granted, being a single mum will not be easy but God will guide me through. #singlemum #Gold calm my hear,” wrote Marya.

Marya, who was signed under Ogopa Deejays recording label met Kevin in 2015 and the two were blessed with a baby boy. However, things almost turned sour for the Hey Baby singer when she was accused by Governor Mike Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi of stealing Kevin from her aunt. Marya is credited with hit songs such as Mahaba and Sishiki Simu.
