MC Jessy lands ambassadorial role

Congratulations!

Charity Ambassadors play a key role in helping the charity meet its strategic objectives to increase awareness of its work and optimize income generation and expenditure.

The position he has been given is attributed to his voluntary efforts not only in Meru but also across Kenya.

Announcement

The funny man wrote, Just been awarded by Furaha Centre for charity efforts in Meru and the whole country, and I have gladly accepted to be the charity ambassador for Furaha Centre.”

Other than the experience his grandfather went through due to cardiac arrest, his philanthropic nature and benevolence prompted him to cycle from Nairobi to Meru to raise awareness on cardiovascular diseases arrest which kills if not treated within 10 minutes.

Lost his grand father

The Meru born humorist impressed many when he cycled for 300 kilometers. His grandfather passed on in February this year after he suffered cardiac arrest. The doctors told him if the hospital had a defibrillator he would probably survive.

The death of his grandpa propelled him to approach Philips East Africa to source for the life-saving machines. Eventually they partnered with Philips and Red Cross in the campaign that raises awareness on living healthy and they also donated five defibrillator machines to Meru hospitals.
