But the post did not quite go as expected as some people felt that these kinds of ‘addressing my haters’ posts should be reserved for socialites and slay queens and not a Senator.
“When did you turn into a slay Queen Senator Millicent Omanga, Mama Miradi. This post tuachie wannabes you now deal with only Nation building matters, like why we need the SGR to go all the way to Rwanda and make it happen. Look up to Amina Mohammed she's a good role model.” Magda Kay wrote.

Albert Samora added “Can you behave like a Hon Senator? Most of your comments just portray you are either Omoriri or young at the head. We expect important things like comments uniting our country, not bedroom matters and self-esteem issues. You are letting us down I wonder if this what you meant "Miradi". You are having so much time of your social walls and you ending up being irrelevant. Thank GOD you aren't Nairobi women rep”
Larry MG also wrote “This is uncalled for especially from a leader. You can't pick cheap fights especially with Facebook haters.” With Ombuya Oroko II adding “Your name is Hon. Omanga, a family lady with children in case you forgot. You are not a socialite. So stop stooping that low. You don't belong there unless you are in a wrong place.”
Roxanne Roisin expressed that she liked where Omanga was going with the post but she should address important issues first “ 'Am not losing an inch’ i like that but address us important issues, didn’t expect this from a respected personnel like you..”
Others expressed doubts about whether she can represent them well such as Isaiah Reuben Senior who wrote “Wait, why would a self-respecting public servant, mother, sister and role model parade herself and ask strangers online to troll her? Are we making a mistake believing you can represent us?”
Others had a word for the haters such as Bonface Bosire who wrote “Haters tunawapeleka wasimame Mombasa road catapillar ipite juu...lol.........nina imani na wewe Mama miradi Millicent omanga, you are the right person to hold an office cos Huendi kukula cos ushakula umeshiba sasa nikututafutia” and Meshack Samson Maina who added “Look at Kenyans with their bitterness, this is a plus size big bum chic who is enjoying her life, senator or not she is female, young and feeling beautiful inside.. Let her be... who said ukiwa senator uvae gunia ndio ukuwe honourable? BBW all the way.”
